Twin's Baseball.....Little League Spring 2009

We have had a great season and this is our last week to play:( We have clenched the number two spot in our league and are VERY proud of the boys!! This year we've had a problem with the photographer who took all the parents' money (even cashed their checks, ours included) and has yet to deliver our pictures and it doesn't look like we will ever see them:( The league has turned the issue over to law enforcement and they are investigating the matter. Anyway, I keep forgetting to bring my camera to the games, what with hauling three lawn chairs and all the baseball gear not to mention four other children. So last night Elias's mom, Tina, took these pics after we won our game. I'm so glad we finally have a team picture!! AND can't wait to get the best team pic this Saturday when the boys are holding the coolest most awesome 2nd place trophies...OH YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I just love these pics and all these boys!! { and ummmm.....hellooooo Coach Randy, humma humma }

Penguins....by Noah

I found this in Noah's backpack and thought it was so cute! See the little egg under the daddy penguin? We were watching "Planet Earth" on Discovery channel the other day and it showed how the penguins take care of their families, with the dad staying home to protect the egg and the mom going away for food. Anyway, I thought it was sweet for him to think of drawing that:)

Happy Un-Birthday Jonah!!

This week Jonah's kindergarten teacher is giving each kid whose birthday falls over the summer a chance to celebrate with the class. Yesterday was Jonah's day, since his birthday is July 18th. She had all of his classmates make cards for him and emailed me to see if I could bring cookies or cupcakes. Well, it was the perfect opportunity to make these cupcakes that I had found on a blog last week...they were soooooooo cute!! And although very easy, it was SUPER time consuming....but WORTH it!! I can't believe I forgot my camera when I took these up to the school....but the look on his face was priceless:) I kept them a surprise so he had no idea. All of the kids kept asking if they were having popcorn, they really do look like the real thing! Nope, just marshmallows.....tons and tons of white and yellow marshmallows.....(on top of the cupcakes) it's really amazing what us moms will do have a smiling happy kid:)

Dylan....{my little brother}

This is my little brother, Dylan. I took this picture while we were visiting family on Easter Sunday. Can't believe how grown up he looks in this picture...he used to be my baby:( Well, he IS sixteen now...I was fifteen when he was born, it seems only a few years ago. And to think...he was premature and only 3 pounds when he came into this world! You never would be able to tell it now:) Wish I could see more of him.....I love you SO much Dylan!!!
